As Nibelungenturm the 53 m high gate tower of the Nibelungen Bridge on the left bank of the Rhine is called. Originally it was used as a living space, since July 1976 it serves as a hostel, which was expanded and operated by scouts of the Association of Christian Scouts and Scouts. Of the total of eight floors above the carriageway, five are used today. The Rheingütestation Worms is housed in the three floors below the carriageway in the base of the tower. Their facility also includes a new building, which was added between 1993 and 1995 directly to the Turmfuß

Until 1945 there was a structurally identical "twin tower" on the opposite side of the Rhine, which is today Hessian, but it was destroyed shortly before the end of the war and not rebuilt. Source: worms-erleben.de
The proof photo with the two towers can be seen on a board at the Winterhafen and is also included in this picture collection.
