The way from the Marienwand to the Adlerklippe was the most arduous part of this hike for me. It was steadily uphill, the path is very narrow, and when other hikers meet it, it is usually very difficult to use the right waiting area.It is a very rocky path, with almost every step taken has a different length and height, and you seldom find a good firm footing. Even with good surefootedness with good footwear, great caution is required. Speed is not important here, but the correct division leads to reaching the Adlerkanzel vantage point. To help, there is a metal handrail on the valley side and the last part is done by using the metal stairs.
