The starting point of the two-kilometer long and beautiful nature trail can be found in the "Ventas velėja" nature reserve, Pils iela 8. The walking trail leads along the left bank of Venta and connects the old brick bridge of Kuldīga with the new bridge, which allows residents and guests of Kuldīga to enjoy the natural beauty of the Venta valley, unusual landscapes and spend time actively in nature.
The trail is landscaped with newly created paths, wooden boardwalks, a bridge over ravines, viewing areas, trash cans, benches and lighting. It is designed wide enough so that pedestrians, mothers with prams and people in wheelchairs can move and exchange on it without any problems.

The trail winds along the bank of the Ventas river up to the new Kuldīgas bridge, allowing you to enjoy the natural views, watch the birds, the flow of the Ventas river and, of course, the Ventas Rumba, which is the most important geological object in the nature reserve and the widest waterfall in Europe - 249 m. The trail will allow you to enjoy a leisurely walk even at dusk, as it is also illuminated in the section from Pils Street to Vienības Street. You can park your car at the Kuldīga brick bridge - in the Mārtiņsala parking lot or on Stendes street
