The Farmers' Museum in the Edelmannshof is one of the oldest museums of its kind in Bavaria. Right next to it is the Church of St. Peter and Paul. The frescoes inside the Romanesque basilica date from around 1410.

The farmer's museum is a farm that is said to have originally been a noble farm and later the vicarage. It dates back to 1605. Since 1964 the Upper Palatinate Farmer's Museum has been located there. This was first opened on a club basis and taken over in 1977 by the Oberpfalz district, which then also built the Neusath open-air museum. After the administration was merged, both museums were given the name Oberpfälzer Freilandmuseum Neusath-Perschen.
