The Schneeferner is a glacier in the Bavarian Alps. It is located on the Zugspitzplatt, a sloping west to east plateau south of the Zugspitzgipfels, which forms the valley of the Reintal. The melting waters of the glacier seep into the karstified plateau and return to the surface in the Reintal valley, where they feed the Partnach. The Schneeferner is one of the northernmost glaciers in the Alps. Source: Wikipedia
