In the summer of 2005, the expansion of the streets and the reconstruction of the Kok Tobe park began. The access roads were paved and work was carried out to green the mountain. After the reconstruction, the appearance of the famous mountain has changed.
In March 2016, the construction of a new cable car was completed and the renewed park reopened its gates to everyone.
