Great view of Hekla, assuming the weather is clear. You can either drive to Hike up to the Rauðaskál crater.
I personally preferred to hike, because why driving when you can hike? It is also a short one and would take somewhere between 40 minutes to an hour to complete the roundtrip.
If you drive the f-road up to the crater, please park the car where the f-roads end. There have already been enough wanna-be influencers driving to the crater rim. Don't do, it it damages this a fragile environment and driving off-road is illegal in Iceland.
