The torchbearer at Thing-Platz (also called Sonnwendplatz) is a 5 m high, martial, muscular figure of the Aryan "master man" to be bred according to the Nazi ideology. The inscription on the relief plate read: “You are the nation's torchbearers. You carry the light of the spirit forward in the fight for Adolf Hitler ”.

Imposing and worth seeing 6 m high wall block with torch bearer and fire bowl at Sonnwendplatz. A well-made display board explains the story of the sculpture of an Aryan "mastermind". The inscription on the relief plate is no longer complete, it read: "You are the torchbearers of the nation. You carry the light of the spirit forward in the fight for Adolf Hitler".
