OPENING HOURS May 1st to September 30th, 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday and Tuesday are rest days

The water tower also known as a flower vase offers with its 26 meters high platform a magnificent view over the city of Flensburg and the fjord. At the top there is a tour around the large water reservoir, which holds 1.5 million liters of drinking water. To this day, the green landmark is important for the Flensburg water supply. The view from the tower on Flensburg to Denmark is impressive: the shipyard, the municipal utilities, the church towers of St. Nikolai, St. Marien and St. Jürgen, the old house fronts on the ship bridge and the beautiful hills Angelns are in good weather too good recognize. These are just a few of the many attractions that the tower visitors offer themselves. However, before this magnificent view can be enjoyed, you have to overcome 135 sometimes creaky steps of a wooden staircase. If necessary, visitors can use the lift.
