The restaurant has been family-owned since 1658. The current guests, at least the eleventh generation, run the house with a lot of love and motivation. We can also only give our recommendation. The beer garden and the guest rooms are very nice. The service on point and very nice. The food is very good and fair in price. The "three things" in a glass as a starter is very tasty and our main courses were also very good and beautifully presented. You can really stop here!

Gasthaus Röhrl with a great beer garden.
The Gaststätte Röhrl is an inn with a beer garden in Eilsbrunn in the Regensburg district. The business has been family-owned since 1658 and has been in continuous operation since then, which earned it an entry in the Guinness Book of Records in 2010 as the oldest inn in the world. However, the Huberwirt in Pleiskirchen has been in continuous operation since 1612.

Opening times in summer until September 30th.
Sat, Sun, public holidays:
11 a.m. until the last person leaves
Mon, Thu and Fri:
5 p.m. until the last person leaves
Closed Tuesday and Wednesday

Where the entry in the Guinness Book comes from remains somewhat questionable. In Germany alone there are older inns and the origins in the 15th century also seem rather young compared to komoot.com/de-de/highlight/4639747.
