Directly on Lake Trummen and surrounded by beautiful nature lies this castle. At the castle there are places to stay and you can go out to eat very well in a really nice atmosphere. (on reservation)

The name of the castle comes from one of the largest villages in the south of Växjös, which was formerly called Telestad. The Swedish word borg means castle or castle. At the turn of the 18th century to the 19th century, the village was also called Teleborg after a territorial reform after the castle built at that time.

The builder, Count Gustav Fredrik Bonde, had the castle built around 1900 for his wife Anna Koskull as a wedding present. The design of the building was inspired by the medieval castles of the Rhine Valley.

The city of Växjö bought the Teleborg property in 1964 for 3.7 million Swedish kronor.
