The Abbot-Degen-Steig on the southern slope of the Haßberge attracts with distances between five and 25 kilometers - making it particularly easy for hikers and walkers to enjoy the wine experience between Zeil a. Immerse Main and the Ebelsbach district of Steinbach: the trail offers something for every wanderlust - and even barrier-free. The path has its name from the one in Zeil a. Abbot Alberich Degen, who was born in the Main: With the Cistercian monks in the 17th century, he made a significant contribution to the cultivation and spread of the Silvaner vine in Franconia.
