Witches, trolls and dragons - the forest is full of fearsome creatures! In the Reinacher Leywald one encounters mysterious and enchanted figures from tens of fairy tales.

On April 16, 2005, the Holzskulpturenweg in Leywald was inaugurated. During the spring of 2005, 10 artists worked on the task of carving, sawing, filing a wooden sculpture on the subject of "fairy tales" ... 12 beautiful sculptures were created from these efforts. In the spring of 2008, the expansion followed with 12 other figures, in 2009, four more were added, 2011 of their 18, so you can now be inspired by a total of 46 fairy tale characters by 22 artists

Directions:

Take the tram no. 11 to the stop "Reinach Süd", all along the Fiechtenweg (past the school house Fiechten) to the edge of the forest of the Leywald

By car: Parking is available at the cemetery "Fiechten", on foot straight out to the edge of the forest
