Only through personal experience is it possible to get an impression of the variety of different flight and hunting techniques used by day and night birds of prey.
The fascination that the seemingly carefree flight of birds has on us humans can be perceived by every visitor at the public flight demonstrations. At the same time, our falconer provides information about the lifestyle and habitats of the birds featured, which shows us the importance of predators for an intact environment.

Falconry is actively practiced at Eekholt Wildlife Park and is presented to visitors in a variety of ways.

🦅 Flight Demonstrations

Three bird of prey flight shows take place daily: 11:30 a.m., 2:00 p.m., and 4:00 p.m.

Falconers present various birds of prey and owls in free flight, providing insights into their behavior and capabilities.
Attendance at the flight demonstrations is included in the admission price.

Falconer for a Day

The wildlife park offers the "Falconer for a Day" experience for interested individuals aged 16 and over.

On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., participants can experience birds of prey up close under the guidance of falconers and learn more about the art of falconry.

Due to high demand, the waiting time for an appointment is currently at least one year.
