If you are coming from Hohbalm, and have just crossed the mountain crest, this is where the view of the Aletschgletscher begins to open up.
Conversely, arriving from the glacier, it is one of the last points where the latter is visible.

Guaranteed wow effect and the desire to stop and contemplate the landscape and take a photo at every step since the entire path allows you to have a constant view of the glacier.
The surface is mainly composed of a narrow dirt path, with a couple of more difficult and steep climbs on rock, but nothing that even a beginner cannot do.
Route always well marked with white / red paint.

About halfway through a puppet lying on a gate holds a sign that says (in German) "attention! Crossing prohibited".
