Gate tower, so-called Äußerer Gebsattlerturm, six-storey quarry stone building with round arch passageway and tower end with pyramid roof and hipped base as well as flat bay window, last quarter of the 14th century, tower end shortly after mid-18th century;
Group watchtower, so-called tower at the Spitalhof, semicircular substructure of a wall weir on spandrel brackets, mid-15th century, demolition of the upper part 19th century;
Bastei, double three-storey ring bastion around two courtyards with casemates, gun emplacements and gabled roof, hump ashlar and cut stone, outer passage with bastion gate, 1537/43 and 1610/16;
former gatekeeper and town customs house, one-storey solid pitched roof building with flat-roofed extension, marked 1537;
Front gate, narrow framed building with street gate and pedestrian gate, Haustein, marked 1586;
Bridge, former drawbridge, wooden construction, 16th century, replaced by stone, 2nd half of 18th century;
Bastei moat with Zwinger, defensive moat surrounded by high retaining walls, 15th century, walls partially renewed after 1667.”
