Meisenthal is a pretty little place in the municipality of Kelberg. Since around 100 people live here, it is very quiet.

The village of "Meysendall" was first mentioned in 1459. The 1563 fire register lists seven fireplaces, i.e., households, for Meisenthal.

The Thirty Years' War and the plague also significantly reduced the population here. In 2000, 91 residents lived in the village.

The map of the Electorate of Trier's office from 1683 lists an oratory, i.e., a place of prayer.

The Kirchweiler Meisenthal is a really beautiful and well-kept place with some historically interesting buildings, including a Kniestockhaus in Mühlenweg 1, the old parish from 1830 and the small St. Antonius chapel from 1708.
