        If you plan the tour via the Bleidenbach farm at the beginning, you only have a slight descent that is less hard on your joints...
        The streams are wonderful, especially in spring, when there is still a lot of light coming through the trees. Later in the summer, you can always feel a pleasant freshness.
        I've done it so many times, this time I've recorded it and photographed it :-)

          Why wander into the distance, see the good is so close! A really nice hiking trail. Partly easy climbing passages, which can probably be avoided. Is probably something for dry weather conditions!

            The wild and romantic Jammertal and then a good lunch or dinner in the Gasthof Dörsbachhöhe is a must.

              The section directly on the Dörsbach is particularly beautiful. We used the entrance in Klingelbach at the grill hut. Well signposted, always follow the D. The mills are not managed. There is a café in Herold. Open only on Sundays from 2pm to 6pm.

                        The Jammertal is a beautiful hiking trail, but you shouldn't hike it from the refuge to Herold, because this path is not well maintained at all. Most of it leads through thorn and broom hedges, so it's almost impossible to hike through.
