We thought it very strange to see that the water from the pond, behind the mill, ran through a gutter through the house to the other side. And there, like a beautiful waterfall, plunged down into the next stream.

What a nice solution, the stream runs through the barn, as it were. If you cycle past here, there is nothing to worry about, but around the bend the road goes up steeply with an even 9% increase.

This is an old water mill, the water comes from the pond that is much higher. The water goes through a gutter, falls/comes onto the mill wheel and from there it falls into the deeper stream
