The Kerkweg, a narrower path between the fields. The beautiful path continues on a berm to Sint-Goriks-Oudenhove. You can already see the church and the Kruiswaterplein from afar. The path ends in the village center, but beforehand you pass a beautiful bench that overlooks the valley.

Old church roads, such as this walking segment, are common in and around the small villages. In the past, these field roads were constructed and used by farmers. Function, to get to the local parish church as quickly as possible. From the air you can clearly see a pattern. Many field paths all converge at the door of the church. Nowadays, these narrow church roads are mainly used recreationally and still lead to a place of peace.
When you complete this route you will certainly relax. On the slope you have a bench with a panoramic view. Take a seat and enjoy.
