In 1968, the Damp municipality decided to design a holiday center and marina on the Baltic Sea and gave the plan the then futuristic name Damp 2000. Today, the complex includes apartments and houses, restaurants, bars, pubs and shops, the Baltic Sea Damp, a sea water swimming pool. numerous wellness and fitness offers and of course the marina.

Damp offers a lot. Relaxation, vacation, beach, sailing boats, seagulls, which if you are not careful, steal the bread from your hand in a dive. The race between the seas, a relay race between Husum and Damp, takes place here once a year. Then the bear will step here for 2-3 days. Otherwise, I have mostly experienced Damp very calmly and always like to come here again.
