The Marienkapelle from Lanzendorf was transferred to the museum village in 1981/82.
The Lanzendorf community had the chapel built in 1753 so that the rosary and the litany could be prayed there every Saturday. In 1968 the community decided to build a new chapel due to the poor state of construction and high renovation costs. With the approval of the Federal Monuments Office and the Archdiocese of Vienna, the old Marienkapelle was transferred to the museum village.
The gable facade has an onion strand in the form of a ridge turret. The interior is barrel-vaulted and ends with a round-arched apse. The multi-colored stucco altar bears the baroque altarpiece "Maria Treu" and is framed by a ray picture. The seating and the bell are original.
