The Stone Rothenberg Cross is a historical monument with a fascinating connection to the moon. It was probably built in the 18th century and served as a landmark related to the phases of the moon. Today it is a nice stop on hikes from which you can enjoy a great view of the surrounding area. The historical and astronomical background makes the place particularly interesting for hikers who want to experience not only nature but also a bit of history.
