The cabin of Svenska Turistföreningen (STF) in Ritsem is located next to the Sámi settlement and offers a good starting point for hikes in the Sarek, Padjelanta and Stora Sjöfallet national parks. From here you have a beautiful view of the huge Áhkkájávrre and the Áhkká massif behind it.
The hut is usually managed from March to April and then again from the end of June to the beginning of September. You can find the exact dates on the STF homepage. During the season you will find accommodation here as well as a small shop and a café.
