Built at the foot of the mountain of Verdera under the ruins of the castle of San Salvador de Verdera. The main monument is the Monestir de Sant Pere, of which about two thrive in the Castell de Poble de Santa Creu. The foundation of Seva dates back to the end of the 10th century, as part of the Benedictine expansion of the Catalan communities encouraged by the Frankish monarchy.
