350 years of Schleswig industrial history. In the copper mill brass and copper sheets were produced over this period. The industrial site developed into a living museum of technology and industrial history. The museum is open from May to October every Wed-Sun from 1 pm to 5 pm and from Nov-April on Sat-Sun from 1 to 5 pm.

The Kupfermühle Industrial Museum offers tangible industrial history. One of the most important testimonies to Schleswig's industrial history can be found in Kupfermühle, a district of Harrislee. For 350 years, copper and brass sheets were produced and processed in the idyllically located town on the Flensburg Fjord. A living museum developed from the industrial site. Since July 2014, the history of industry and technology has been presented in a new and exciting way in three renovated industrial halls.
A unique copper collection and a historical tour introduce visitors to the industrial and regional history. Functional, restored machines, a hammer mill with water wheel drive, old copper and iron forges, a listed 700 hp steam engine and much more are demonstrated and explained.
The place itself is an architectural monument of industrial history with the workers' and directors' houses and the old industrial plants.
