Tbilisi is worth a visit, a great city with many attractions. The temperatures are at 32 degrees, mid-September, still midsummer. The food is very good. The people are very nice. Recommended !!

Tradition reports that the Georgian King Vakhtang I Gorgassali killed a pheasant while hunting in a wooded valley. The animal fell into a hot spring and its injury was instantly healed by the bubbling water. The king had the area carefully explored. When he learned that there were many hot springs there, he founded the city of Tbilisi in this place in the 2nd half of the 5th century.
Even today there are some public and private sulfur baths in the Abanotubani spa district of the old town.
