The cemetery is embedded in nature. The resting places are on the trees and are indicated by small memorial signs on the tree.
There should definitely be more of this type of cemetery as it has so many advantages.

The Friedwald was opened in 2003 (and has been available as a cemetery for 99 years since then).
In the approximately 51-hectare FriedWald, burials can be carried out under old oaks and beeches.

At the place of worship there is a memorial stone (a boulder from the Ice Age), which is decorated with a metal cross and serves as a place for flowers or other grave decorations at funerals or memorial services.

There is also a shelter directly at the parking lot. In the middle is a stone with a metal cross, which can be used as a place for storing urns. For a smaller group, the shelter can also be used as a place for a funeral service before a burial.

A small stream meanders through the FriedWald.

There is even a toilet in the parking lot.
