Most famous climb in the Netherlands, outside of 'Zuid Limburg'.

The Schietbergseweg is named 'Posbank' locally after the 'Posbank' viewing point at the top. The road is a slow climb. The first part is flat, then ascents easily at first. Only the very last part is steep. Back in 2016 the Posbank was one of the official climbs (cat 4) in the Giro d' Italia. There's a pink finish line at the top to remember this event, what is pretty cool.

The Beklimming Posbank, situated in the Veluwezoom National Park near Rheden, is renowned for its rolling hills, dense forests, and expansive heathlands. This 2-kilometer climb features an elevation gain of about 90 meters, with an average gradient of 4.5% and steeper sections reaching up to 12%. As you ascend, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes, with the route winding through lush forests and open heathlands. While popular, especially on weekends, the traffic is generally manageable. The well-maintained road ensures a smooth and safe ride, making it a convenient and enjoyable destination for cyclists from nearby towns and villages.

The most famous climb in the Veluwe and a must-do in the area. If you don't take that with you, it remains a nice climb.
