The village church of Teterin stands in the middle of the old village of Alt-Teterin, which dates back to Wendish times and was first mentioned in a document in 1338.
The plastered hall building with the southern entrance porch has a west tower in neo-Romanesque style with a granite basement, upper floor and bell chamber made of brick and a copper-covered pointed helmet.
Since the church was built around 1400, every century has left its mark here, which is worth discovering: a baptismal font from the 13th century, two old tombstones by Lepel around 1400 and von Eickstedt in 1586, a beautiful late medieval crucifix, an impressive coat of arms epitaph of the von Eickstedt family (1714) and much more.
The altarpiece is decorated with allegorical figures as caryatids instead of the usual columns and was created around 1700.
In the cemetery there is a hereditary burial made of granite stone with brick elements. The Holtz family grave, the owner of the manor on Müggenburg, is also located there.
Outside the cemetery, the war memorial stands in the east as a slender stele with an eagle, on the sides the names of the fallen are attached.
