                  This bench with Nis Puk has been adorning this place since 2021 and invites you to linger. Nis Puk is a legendary figure known in the Danish-German border area.

                  He is welcome because he looks after the house and yard when the residents are not there, but only if the residents treat their children well. He lives in barns and in the attic, but can no longer be seen by adults. And at Christmas he absolutely has to get a bowl of grits, otherwise he'll move on to the next village.
