Benrath Palace is a former residence of the Electors of the Palatinate in Düsseldorf, the capital of North Rhine-Westphalia. The baroque three-wing complex was built between 1755 and 1771 on behalf of Karl Theodor of the Palatinate and based on a design by Nicolas de Pigage. The vestibule, the domed hall and the palace park are particularly noteworthy.
