Before the fall of the Berlin Wall, the church was in such a poor structural condition that parts of the valuable baroque interior had to be removed. Now it has been restored and is used for cultural events. It has very good acoustics and is a good place to sing, for example Nulla in mundo pax by Vivaldi. :-)
