In Friedrichsmoor - in the midst of the Waldlewitz - you can get to know the legendary Lewitz and her characters. Here a forest adventure trail awaits to be explored by hikers and cyclists. This approximately four or twelve kilometer long circuit leads you from the hunting lodge Friedrichsmoor through the southwestern part of the Waldlewitz. At several stations you can get to know different mythical and fairy-tale creatures of the Lewitz and experience them through installations - robber Röpke for example, who is said to have lived at Sukow. You will also receive information on landscape history, forestry and natural history appropriate to the legend. Along the way are fabulous wooden sculptures designed by various artists. The forest adventure trail is signposted from Jagdschloss Friedrichsmoor.

Here at station 10 the legend of the White Hart is told and a corresponding board shows the magic of the white animals.

The legendary world of Lewitz is teeming with dragons, mythical creatures and all sorts of secrets from the history of Germany's largest meadow landscape. There are a total of 16 stations along the path, each with a legend on the topic. Artists have created statues for each station, the legend can be read on boards or accessed as an audio play via QR code. There are discovery tasks for children and information about the forest and nature is conveyed in a playful way. The start and end point is the Friedrichsmoor hunting lodge. The trail is suitable for hikers and cyclists.

An enchanted meadow and forest landscape like the Lewitz naturally inspires fairy tales and legends. There are stories of white women roaming mist-shrouded fields, of the wild hunt roaring down country lanes at night, and of magnificent white stags emerging from thickets of mighty oaks and beeches. Legends usually have a core of truth and lead back to the time when Lewitz was settled by Slavs or to the time of the Napoleonic Wars. On the "Legendary Lewitz" forest adventure trail (12 km cycle path or 4 km hiking trail) visitors can get to know the legendary world of the landscape. You can get to the bottom of the myths at 16 stations with experience and discovery stations. In addition, knowledge about nature is imparted in a playful way.
