Haus Haan is a moated castle and a former manor. It is located in Cologne's Höhenhaus district on the border with the Dünnwald district. The facility was first mentioned in a document in 1203. The castle was damaged by arson during the Thirty Years War in 1628.
The manor house, built in 1601, was renovated in 1786. Between 1984 and 1986 there was a conversion to a luxurious property complex, which offers apartments in the main house as well as in the adjacent stables. The latter had previously been expanded from a riding club to a riding stables since 1958, before the latter was relocated in the early 1980s.

The old Wasserburg Haus Haan dates back to the 12th century. Still very nice to look at. The entire property, including farm buildings, has been converted into a housing estate.

A beautiful moated castle from the 12th century. It has been converted into luxurious apartments, where even celebrities have found temporary residence.
