The Romanesque church of Sant Feliu de Barruera dates from the 11th century, although the nave, the bell tower, two chapels and the portal were added in the 12th century. It is very interesting to compare the different architectural details according to the period in which they were built.

San Félix de Barruera (in Catalan, Sant Feliu de Barruera) is the Romanesque parish church of the Catalan town of Barruera, head of the Bohí valley (province of Lleida, Spain).

It belongs to the group of Catalan Romanesque churches of the Bohí Valley, declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco. It is contemporary with the other churches in the area and was probably made by the same master builders.

It is located to the southeast of the center of the town of Barruera, outside the historic sector of the town, in the area of les Gavarreres. The current highway separates them.
