If there is a building in the center of Elburg that you should not miss, it is the Agnietenklooster. This beautiful monastery was built in the first half of the 15th century. The specific year cannot be determined with certainty, but there are indications that this would have been in 1425. One thing is certain: the building has had all kinds of uses since its foundation. Where it was a women's monastery in the beginning, it later became a city auditorium, it has been a school and finally a town hall. Are you looking for a special location to get married?
