I hiked past here today. I think the church is a bit obscured by buildings, and you can't really see its full splendor. But perhaps the interior is a surprise. I'll have to explore that on another trip. In any case, it was built as it stands today in the second half of the 18th century, although its origins date back to 1635. Construction of the church in stone began that year, but it ended up being a wooden structure.
