The parish church of St. Barbara in Tiefenbach is one of the three Catholic parish churches in the market town of Oberstdorf. It is the only one of these that belonged for centuries to the diocese of Constance, whose eastern border was the Iller. The church is artistically decorated and invites you to linger.

Charming little church in the Oberstdorf district Tiefenbach. You can hike from here in a short hike on the inconspicuous Sulzburg. Nice view and for climbing fans there is a suitable rock here. Or you walk around the Ochsenberg over the Hirschsprung, Obermaiselstein, Langenwang back to Tiefenbach.

Between June 7th and 11th, I liked to see the church as a signpost from some perspectives and I would definitely highlight it afterwards as a highlight.
There is a small herb garden next to the church.
