During the “Green Week” in Berlin, or more precisely: at the annual horse show, “products” from Sindorfer Mühle are in demand: Hubert and Klaudia Faßbender have dedicated themselves to breeding Rhenish-German draft horses on their farm on the Große Erft. The mill, first mentioned in 1395, was rebuilt after a fire in 1791. Just like Horrem, it belonged to the gentlemen from Hemmersbach Castle, from 1751 to the Berghe von Trips family. In 1930 Faßbender's grandfather leased the plant, who later put the grinding mill and Unimog into operation there for the “Renngrafen Wolfgang”.
