The old town hall in Laufersweiler probably came from the 17th century. The porch, supported by supports, served the traveling people as a shelter in earlier times, at times the town hall was also used as a prison and syringe house, today it is a meeting room.
A colorful Easter scene is currently not only delighting the children at the “Old Town Hall”.
A total of around 2000 real chicken eggs were dyed and processed, plus the greenery that has to be renewed every year. In between there are huge Easter bunnies made of hay and straw as well as lambs and chickens, which are also handcrafted. All year round, a couple works on the execution and carries out repairs so that everything appears fresh again. At the end of the day, the "animals" come out of their winter quarters and fill the scenery with life. The egg crowns on the lawn in front of the building complete the graceful picture.
