Small village at the beginning of Lake Pontechianale. There is an interesting sundial clearly visible from the street, and a beautiful fountain which also acts as a water point. The dam, built in the early 1940s, is worth a look. The Alevè tourist refuge offers an excellent base. The lakeside promenade towards the Maddalena hamlet (Pontechianale) is beautiful.
