Christiane Völkel offered a brief reflection that I would like to share with those who view the small sacred monument "Croce di San Luigi" standing here: "This thought makes it clear that we Christians can have a different perspective on life than people who lack this dimension of hope for the fulfillment of life. Those who succeed in placing their mortality trustingly in God's hands can escape the fear of death."
