In this oasis of peace in the middle of the Brechtse heath, near the heathland, you have a beautiful view of the abbey of Nazareth. The Sisters of the Order of Trappistines withdrew there.
In 1946 the reclamation works for the abbey on the Brechtse Heide started. On June 25, 1950, thirteen sisters withdrew permanently behind the new abbey walls.
There is a shop attached to the abbey where you can buy washing up liquid, soap, bath foam, shampoo and natural toilet soaps.
Their main occupations are the making of liturgical vestments and flags.

You can leave at the Maalderij and head towards the monastery or take the option to go towards Overbroek. Next, you'll come close to the military firing ranges. Beautiful surroundings.
