The Rodenbeck windmill (mill route no. 14) is a gallery Dutchman built as a manor mill from 1821. It is characterized by its massive, squat, conical mill tower. Unfortunately, nothing can be seen of the 24-cornered wooden gallery and the wings, which could still be admired years ago. After all, the hood, which is considered the largest in the Minden-Lübbecke district, is still there. And inside, parts of the wind drive and motor drive of the mill, which was shut down in 1954, are said to still be there. Overall, the mill unfortunately makes a very neglected impression.

And if you do that between April and October, you can watch what the work of a miller looked like in the past. The 'milling and baking calendar' tells you where and when it is being ground and baked.
