The Moorerlebnispfad is about 3 km long and is located on the edge of the nature reserve Huvenhoopsmoor. Various information boards give insight into the origin, the flora and fauna as well as the cultivation of the bog. Three action stations invite you to participate. For example, you can walk barefoot through the moor on the peat-hauled path, where the sinking depth can be up to 80 cm, and the bilateral railing helps prevent the worst. Anyone who wants can also try as a moat diver and practice the art of crossing the ubiquitous drainage ditches with long poles. The walkable club and Bohlendamm is designed according to historical models.
An observation deck offers an unobstructed view of the vast unspoilt high moor landscape. After all, the Huvenhoops Lake is the last remaining natural moorland of the Teufelsmoor and one of the last bog lakes in Lower Saxony.
