The 'Crypt' - The noble family von Zehmen had a family burial ground built between 1842 and 1844. This mausoleum, popularly known as the crypt, is located in the castle park, approx. 150 m east of the castle, on the main path of the park. It is built in neo-gothic style.

The von Zehmensche coat of arms is attached above the portal of the stately building. It features blue and white checks crossed by two golden wavy lines. To the left and right of the coat of arms are the letters G.v.Z. 1844 and G.v.Z. 1938
The inscription on the left indicates the year of construction under the builder Georg Christian Ludwig von Zehmen (1776 - 1844). He was buried in this mausoleum in 1844. The inscription on the right shows the year of renovation under the last lord of the castle and manor, Georg von Zehmen.
