Here, you can learn more about the flora and fauna along the trail and the region. Everything is clean and well-maintained. Behind the center, there are restrooms that look brand new and are very clean. Parking is free and available for extended periods in a large parking lot. There's a small play area for children, and adults can relax on large wooden benches. From here, you can start great hikes or a long bike tour.

At the Ems Information Center, you'll learn all about the source region of Germany's second-longest river. The information center also marks the starting point of the Ems Cycle Path, which runs 375 kilometers from Hövelhof to Emden on the North Sea.
The information center is open daily.
From April to September, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and from October to March, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Tip: Weather permitting, the Maciejewski Garden Café is open to visitors every Sunday from 11 a.m.
