The seven man-high, steel-cut Stations of the Cross are here; praying - and singing - to look at the Stations of the Cross of Jesus Christ on the Brockenscheidt heap.
The seven stations represent:
1. The condemned Jesus accepts the cross.
2.Jesus falls under the cross.
3.Simon of Cyrene helps Jesus carry the cross.
4.Veronica hands Jesus the handkerchief.
5.Jesus, nailed to the cross, dies.
6. The body of Jesus lies on his mother's lap (pieta).
7.Jesus rises from the dead.

Great Way of the Cross, it makes the way to the Spurwerkturm even more beautiful. The black iron sculptures are really something different and go really well with the stockpile.

Because we are in the Ruhr area, the sculptures were made of steel and iron and not of wood. That works when the sun is shining, when it's cloudy they look more threatening than contemplative to me.
