A side outlet of Lake Badenburg into the "Teufelsbach" was designed as a rock spring in the forest. The Greek shepherd god Pan and a billy goat are lying on the rocks in the cool shade of dark yew trees - the hurried walker easily overlooks them. This suits Pan, the wild god of the forest and nature.
Design by Peter Simon Lamine 1815, who here repeats his own motif from the palace gardens in Schwetzingen. The pan group is said to be the only garden decoration from the phase in which F.L.v. Sckell landscaped the Nymphenburger Park.
